Award Winning Dolls

Last week I entered a few of my dolls into the Kiama Show. The Kiama Show has been around since 1848 and is the 4th largest agricultural show in NSW. I entered 11 different items all up (three of which were dolls) and I came out with two firsts and two seconds.

Some of the other things that I entered were our family crocheted blanket from last year, a fair isle beanie, a human study photo and a landscape photo.

My guitar string art came first in the Under 16 Hard Craft Section.

My crocheted square came first in the Under 16 Crocheted Square Section.

My fair isle beanie came second in the Adult Fair Isle Section.

and…

Hugo came second in the Adult Crochet Toy Section!

I’m super happy with how they went, and now I can officially say that I make award winning crocheted dolls! My siblings also entered a lot and altogether we came out with 27 prizes.
