Day 22 – Inventions

Chilblain Sufferer Relief Watch Invention

Just a little while ago Origin ran a kids invention competition called “littleBIGidea”.  Mum found out about it and so we all decided to have a go and invent something.  On our Dad Day, Dad helped us with our designs and we drew them up and entered them into the competition.

I invented a ‘Chilblain Sufferer Relief Watch’. A watch designed to heat up the blood as it goes into your hands so that the blood does not cool and then heat rapidly producing the chilblain itch and pain.

Delle invented a drain that catches water off the road and runs it through many filters to purify it for drinking, Abbi invented a small computer that connects to the tap and it saves water by only letting out enough water for your task, and Lije invented a Band-Aid that had a small button that let out a oil to make the Band-Aid stop from sticking to your skin when you were trying to take it off.

    Hi Mrs Sally!
We didn’t win anything but we had heaps of fun inventing.
The winner in my age group invented a charger to put on the back of your phone that absorbs photons from the sun and uses them to make electricity to charge the phone. The website is : https://www.originenergy.com.au/energyforschools/littlebigidea/ You can check out the top 12 inventions from years three to eight.
