Abigail, Interviews

I interview MUM!!!

I decided this week that I would love to put an interview with my Mum on the blog.  Here are the questions that I asked and her answers.

What is your name? Angela

How many brothers and sisters do you have?  I have three brothers, two are older than me and one of them is younger.

Where did you grow up?  I grew up in Port Moresby – Papua New Guinea and in Sydney – Australia.

What were your favourite things to do when you were little?  I liked to play with my Sindy dolls, do craft and go sailing with my family.

What was your favourite toy when you were little?  I really liked my doll that could play records, her name was Diane.  However, she often used to break down and my eldest brother would fix her for me.

What do you really like doing?  I like to walk in the bush near our home.

Is there anything that you don’t like?  I don’t like using the toothpaste when it hasn’t been squeezed “correctly” and gets all messy.

What is your favourite flower?  My favourite flowers are Daisies because they are happy flowers, but I also really like Lilies.  My middle name even means Lily.

Do you grow any of these flowers?  We have five Daisy plants in our front garden.

What do you do for work?  I home-school my kids, so they would call me a teacher.

What is one of your favourite books? I love lots of books, but “Shape Of Mercy” by Susan Meissner is one I enjoyed reading recently.

What is your favourite food?  Fish (any kind), mash and salad.

What are some interesting facts about yourself?  Some interesting facts…. hmm…. My second toe is longer than my big toe, I have always wanted to play the piano and paint, but I’m not very good at either and I really, really LIKE glasses.

Did you enjoy reading this interview?  I really hope you did, I have included a photo of my mum taken today.

WOW!!! Abbi, you look so much like your Mum!!! I did know that, but Tahli had never realised … and was ‘gobsmacked’ (there’s another interesting word for you Steph).

I REALLY enjoyed reading the interview of your mum. They were great questions Abbi … I learned heaps more about her … I can tell you a couple of other things she doesn’t like …

Thank you so much for posting. I love learning about your Mum; she is such an amazingly wonderful person and you are very blessed to have her as your Mum.

Maybe you can convince Dad to let you do an interview on him next.

    Lots of love
    Mrs Sally

PS. So glad you liked the jeans. xo
