Crochet Doll with Speechbubble

Here is a little crochet doll that I made recently from this book

My Crochet Doll – Isabelle Kassedjian.

nude doll

I have made her a whole stack of different outfits and am still making more right now.  Here are a few that she has already:

4 girls edited

The dress pictured below, is one that I have designed to fit her.

dress I made girl

Here is a pattern of how to make this dress using a 3.75mm hook and 8ply yarn:

ch 40, ss into first ch

(work in a spiral)

Round 1: 2 dc into every ch – 80

Round 2: *1 dc into the first three dcs, 2 dc into the next dc*, rep from * to* until the end of round – 120

Round 3: *1 dc into the first 15 dcs, 2 dc into the next dc*, rep from * to * 7 times then 1 dc in each dc until the end of round -127

Rounds 4-17: 1 dc in each dc -127, ss into the next dc.

Cut yarn and weave in ends

Join the yarn where you want the straps to begin – ch 40, ss into a stitch the makes the straps cross over at the back.

Repeat on the other side.
